The proposed East Metro I-80 Rail Park is located less than 10 minutes East of Des Moines and will accommodate the needs of users who require Interstate and rail access. This park will include potential land uses for manufacturing, warehouse distribution, truck plaza, and several other industrial needs. The Rail Park will be served by the Iowa Interstate Rail Line and will be in the Mitchellville city limits. The concept plan you see above is in the preliminary stages and describes the potential lay out of the Industrial Park.
